Mineral:Fluorite with Pyrite-Chalcopyrite
Locality:Glengowla East Mine, Oughterad, County Galway, Ireland
Description:Transparent greenish-gray fluorite crystal with pyrite-chalcopyrite to 2 mm. The fluorite crystal is octahedral form, with waxy luster on the faces, except in the corners which are lustrous. The fluorite fluoresces violet under LW UV illumination. Collected by John Lawson (1942-2024) and Robert Lawson
